Shasta County Adverse Childhood Experiences Pilot Project
Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) research show us that higher ACE scores in childhood result in long term physical and mental health impacts, both for individuals and communities. Screening parents for the ten ACEs can help them understand how their childhood may be impacting the way they parent.
The Public Health Branch of Shasta County Health and Human Services Agency is currently implementing an ACE Screening Pilot Project in collaboration with five local provider organizations. Join us for an overview of this exciting project.
