In 8-12 weeks your child will receive their first book in the mail, 'The Little Engine That Could'. Books arrive in the mail monthly until your child's 5th birthday. The month your child turns 5 they will receive 'Look Out Kindergarten, Here I Come!'

Help Me Grow
All parents have questions, Help Me Grow Shasta has answers.Connect with resources that are helpful to your child’s development. Help Me Grow is available to all parents of children ages birth to eight in Shasta County. Connecting with Help Me Grow is easy, free, and available to use 24 hours a day.
W.H.A.L.E. Kits
Free safety resource for families with young children.The W.H.A.L.E. program is a nationally-recognized car seat safety program. In the event of an emergency where the driver/caregiver is incapacitated, first responders can identify medical and emergency contact information to better assist the children within the vehicle. The W.H.A.L.E car seat kit contains a sticker for the car seat with medical information and contact information in the case of an emergency.
