In families impacted by intimate partner violence, properly assessing and identifying which parent is the primary aggressor is vital to child welfare investigations and interventions.
In this session, we will explore the consequences related to the misidentification of the primary aggressor by systems of care and other related systems.
we will discuss trends and special considerations while also examining ways to accurately assess for the primary aggressor and advocate for survivors and their children.
